Our certified testing process assesses your copper cables to measure compliance with the requirements of ANSI/TIA-568-C.
If the copper backbone cable contains more than five (5) percent bad pairs, it is removed and replaced entire cable.
If the horizontal cable contains bad conductors or shielding, we will remove and replace the cable.
Initial test of optical cable is conducted with a light source and power meter using procedures as outlined in ANSI/TIA-526-14-B Annex ‘A’: This includes measures that comply with OFSTP-14B Optical Power Loss Measurements of Installed Multimode Fiber Cable Plant and ANSI/TIA-526-7 as well as OFSTP-7 Measurement of Optical Power Loss of Installed Single-mode Fiber Cable.
- Cables are tested at 850 nm and 1300 nm for multimode optical fiber cables.
- Testing procedures utilize “Method B”
- One jumper reference of Bi-directional testing of optical fibers is required. No other low voltage service provider exceeds the process for certification which we employ.
